Galatasaray made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Yvonne Anderson (170-90, college: Texas, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Latvian center Kristine Vitola (193-91, college: UTEP) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Guard Kubra Erat (169-95, agency: LBM Management) produced 16 points and point guard Asena Yalcin (172-91, agency: LBM Management) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Adana ASKI's coach Kaan Artun gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Galatasaray maintains fourth place with 16-6 record. Adana ASKI at the other side keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Mersin BSB and Botas. Galatasaray will meet at home league's leader Fenerbahce in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Adana ASKI will play against Girne Univ. (#13) in Lefkosa and hope to secure a win.
