Top ranked Krivbas-2 (13-7) recorded its seventh loss in Lviv on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Politekhn.Lvov (12-8) 79-72. Krivbas-2 was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Politekhn.Lvov looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Dmytro Khodov (203-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and forward Maksym Tiutiunyk (190-92) who added 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Politekhn.Lvov's coach Yaroslav Zubrytskyy used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Dmitro Vasilenko (191-97) responded with 20 points and point guard Sergey Startsev (190-97) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Politekhn.Lvov have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 12-8 record. Loser Krivbas-2 dropped to the second place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
