TKBL top team - Bornova (33-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Urla BLD (17-18) 79-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Urla BLD. Bornova forced 26 Urla BLD turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Nazli Guler (184-82, agency: 1x1 Sports) who scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Gulsah Akkaya (181-77, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 15 points. Five Bornova players scored in double figures. Ukrainian center Olena Staschuk (192-85) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 21 rebounds and forward Ayse Akinci (175-82) added 9 points respectively for the guests.
