Sixteenth-ranked Titans (2-29) gave a tough game to third ranked Chemnitz (21-9) in Dresden on Saturday. The visitors from Chemnitz managed to secure only two-point victory 70-68. However their fans expected much easier game. Chemnitz forced 20 Titans turnovers. The best player for the winners was American point guard Virgil Matthews (190-83, college: Montana) who scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import power forward Joe Lawson (201-92, college: Indianapolis, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds.
