Second Stage Round 9: Dinamo B. - Craiova 72-87

Another interesting game for Craiova (7-16) which played on the court of CS Dinamo Bucuresti (6-17). Third ranked Craiova had an easy win 87-72. The game was mostly controlled by Craiova. CS Dinamo Bucuresti was better in third quarter 16-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Craiova dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to CS Dinamo Bucuresti's 24. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American guard Tayloe Taylor (191-86, college: Livingstone) stepped up and scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Jamar Abrams (201-89, college: E.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Craiova's coach Vladimir Vuksanovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was center Iulian Orbeanu (204-91) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and Serbian forward Danilo Tasic (207-93, agency: 011 Sports) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Craiova maintains third place in Nationala with 7-16 record having four points less than leader Targu Mures. CS Dinamo Bucuresti at the other side keeps the fourth position with 17 games lost. Craiova will play against league's second-placed Phoenix Galati at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CS Dinamo Bucuresti will play against the league's leader Targu Mures and hopes to get back on the winning track.
