Another interesting game for EWE Baskets (14-12) which hosted in Oldenburg against 5th ranked ALBA Berlin (17-11). Eighth ranked EWE Baskets had an easy win 93-81. EWE Baskets made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Chris Kramer (191-88, college: Purdue) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and the other American import swingman Rickey Paulding (196-82, college: Missouri) who added 27 points during the contest. Five EWE Baskets players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bosnian center Elmedin Kikanovic (211-88, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and international swingman Niels Giffey (200-91, college: Connecticut) scored 14 points. ALBA Berlin's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. EWE Baskets moved-up to seventh place. ALBA Berlin at the other side keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. EWE Baskets will play against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#8) at home in the next round. ALBA Berlin will play against Walter Tigers and hopes to get back on the winning track.
