Fenerbahce players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The winners were led by American forward James Nunnally (201-90, college: UCSB) who scored that evening 26 points and 4 assists (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) and Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) supported him with 15 points. Even 25 points by American forward Tony Crocker (200-87, college: Oklahoma) did not help to save the game for Tofas. Dominican-American swingman Sammy Mejia (198-83, college: De Paul) added 13 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fenerbahce have an impressive 15-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-2 record. Tofas lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. Fenerbahce will play against Banvit (#4) in Balikesir in the next round.
