Regular Season Round 20: Neftochimic - Montana 2003 78-76

The most exciting game of round 20 in the NBL took place in Burgas. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Montana 2003 (11-5) to fourth ranked Neftochimic (7-9) 78-76 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Montana 2003. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-76. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovenian center Tina Trebec (190-90) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican guard Ashley Prim (170-91, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who added 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Prim is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American center Leeza Burdgess (194-90, college: La Salle) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Tsvetomira Sharenkapova (184-91) scored 8 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Neftochimic maintains fourth position with 7-9 record. Defending champion Montana 2003 keeps the second place with five games lost.
