Regular Season Round 25: Fenerbahce - Hatay 103-76

KBSL top team - Fenerbahce (20-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Hatay (13-11) in Istanbul 103-76. Fenerbahce shot 62.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 72.7 percentage. Fenerbahce players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American power forward Candace Parker (193-86, college: Tennessee) fired 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Hungarian-American guard Allie Quigley (178-86, college: De Paul) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Kazakhstan-Belarusian forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85) produced 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and naturalized American swingman Bahar Ozturk (183-84, college: Connecticut, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 20-5 record. Hatay at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Fenerbahce's next round opponent will be Botas (#9) in Adana and are hoping to win another game. Hatay will play on the road against Girne Univ. in Lefkosa and hope to win that game.
