UNIQA Sopron outgunned ZTE NKK in the opener. The game was mostly controlled by UNIQA Sopron. ZTE NKK managed to win second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ZTE NKK to just 5 points in first and fourth quarters. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
