The game in Wildau was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Rendsburg (6-12) played at the court of eighth ranked Wusterhausen (7-11). Wusterhausen managed to secure a 6-point victory 79-73 on Saturday. Wusterhausen forced 19 Rendsburg turnovers and outrebounded them 40-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Thomas Schoeps (188-89, college: Odessa JC) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Nico Draegert (208-90) who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side center Christopher Geist (208-95) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Mubarak Salami (197-96) scored 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Wusterhausen moved-up to seventh place in North. Rendsburg lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost.
