Very predictable result when second ranked Vilsbiburg (18-8) outscored at home 11th ranked Topstar (10-16) 86-64 on Saturday. Vilsbiburg forced 34 Topstar turnovers and had a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Czech center Lubos Novy (204-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and American-Czech point guard John Boyer (185-88, college: Buffalo, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 17 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals during the contest. Boyer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side Slovenian guard Emanuel Richter (192-86) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Joshua Hart (198-90, college: Va Intermont) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Topstar's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Vilsbiburg maintains second position in South-East with 18-8 record having just three points less than leader Schwelm, which they share with Treuchtlingen and Bad Aibling. Loser Topstar dropped to the tenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Ansbach.
