There was no surprise when 14th ranked Bayreuth 2 (3-23) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Bad Aibling (18-8) 70-63 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian-Croatian forward Miodrag Mirceta (198) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and swingman Malo Valerien (195-92) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Bad Aibling's coach Luca Burci used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side Moritz Trieb (190-98) responded with 21 points and Robin Amaize (188-94, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Bad Aibling moved-up to second place in South-East, which they share with Treuchtlingen and Vilsbiburg. Bayreuth 2 lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 23 games lost.
