Second Stage Round 7: Kakanj - Bosna-Royal 73-76

Important game to mention about took place in Kakanj. Fourth ranked Bosna-Royal (4-3) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging bottom-ranked Kakanj (0-7) 76-73 on Saturday evening. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 20-11. But Kakanj won third quarter 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kakanj was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international guard Marko Josilo (200-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Vladimir Djordjevic (201) helped adding 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side Croatian swingman Zeljko Palavra (194-82) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and center Obrad Tomic (206-93) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bosna-Royal moved-up to third place in I. Kakanj at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Bosna-Royal will play against Siroki Primorka (#7) in Siroki Brijeg in the next round. Kakanj will play on the road against the league's leader Igokea in Aleksandrovac and hopes to get finally their first victory.
