Regular Season Round 21: Konjice - Ilirija 64-115

2SKL top team - Ilirija (21-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Konjice (9-12) 115-64. The game without a history. Ilirija led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Ilirija forced 20 Konjice turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Konjice's players. International point guard Zan-Mark Sisko (189-97, agency: BeoBasket) nailed 21 points and 8 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Tevz Ruzic (191-95) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Forward Ziga Srot (-96) came up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and guard Benjamin Pungartnik (190-82) added 11 points respectively for Konjice in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ilirija have an impressive series of twenty one victories in a row. Newly promoted Ilirija maintains first place with 21-0 record. Konjice lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. Ilirija will play against league's second-placed Sezana at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Konjice will play against Parklji (#6) in Bezigrad and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
