Regular Season Round 28: Coburg - Oberhaching 94-67

Leader Coburg delivered the twenty fourth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Oberhaching (13-13) 94-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Oberhaching. They outrebounded Oberhaching 45-34 including a 39-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Coburg players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Oberhaching's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Burris (201-92, college: CS San Bernar.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Steffen Walde (190-92) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Coburg players scored in double figures. Coburg's coach Simon Bertram felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) replied with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Torsten Walter (188) added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Oberhaching. Coburg have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Coburg maintains first position in South-East with 24-2 record. Oberhaching at the other side keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost.
