Rather expected game when 11th ranked Samsun (8-18) lost on the road to eighth ranked Mersin BSB (12-13) 75-62 on Saturday. Mersin BSB dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Samsun's 32 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Mersin BSB forced 19 Samsun turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for Lithuanian power forward Gintare Petronyte (196-89) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds.
