No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Galatasaray (15-10) defeated at home 11th ranked Istanbul BBSK (9-16) 74-67. Galatasaray forced 19 Istanbul BBSK turnovers. American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) nailed 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international Goksenin Koksal (195-91) accounted for 14 points. American-Bulgarian guard Earl Calloway (191-83, college: Indiana) came up with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and international Metecan Birsen (208-95) added 18 points respectively for Istanbul BBSK in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Galatasaray. They maintain sixth place with 15-10 record.
