Quarter-Finals Round 3: UNI Gyor - Miskolc 74-73

UNI Gyor narrowly beat Miskolc to secure their semifinal qualification. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-73. UNI Gyor looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Brianna Kiesel (170-93, college: Pittsburgh) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Belarusian swingman Tatsiana Likhtarovich (180-88) helped adding 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Tina Jovanovic (190-91) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Timea Czank (177-86) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
