Second Stage Round 9: Bosnjak - Leotar 86-88

A very interesting game took place in Hadzici. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 10th ranked Bosnjak (2-5) to eleventh ranked Leotar (3-4) 88-86 in the game for the tenth place. Leotar players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Swingman Vladimir Aleksic (198-87) nailed 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and guard Stefan Mijovic (196-95) accounted for 23 points and 6 rebounds. Four Leotar players scored in double figures. The former international forward Mujo Tuljkovic (202-79, agency: BeoBasket) came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Amir Dovadzija (193-84) added 11 points and 12 assists respectively for Bosnjak in the defeat. Leotar moved-up to tenth place in I. Bosnjak at the other side dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. Leotar's next round opponent will be higher ranked Siroki Primorka (#7) in Siroki Brijeg and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bosnjak will play on the road against Mladost (#9) in Mrkonjic Grad and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
