Regular Season Round 22: Triglav - Grosuplje 76-68

The most important game in the last round took place in Kranj between third ranked Grosuplje (13-9) and fourth ranked Triglav (14-8) on Saturday night. Grosuplje was defeated by Triglav in a tough game on the road 68-76. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Grosuplje. Grosuplje was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Grosuplje 38-26 including 31 on the defensive glass. Guard Aleksander Vojicic (192-87) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Matija Vravnik (198-92) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Guard Dejan Milasinovic (182-89) produced 11 points and 6 assists and forward Matic Sirnik (198-91) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Triglav have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Grosuplje at the other side dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with Plama Pur.
