Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Mersin: Mersin BSB (#8) and Mersin MBK (#13). Mersin MBK was defeated at home 84-94 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Mersin BSB (12-14) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Istanbul Univ. Newly promoted Mersin MBK keeps the thirteenth position with 20 games lost. Mersin BSB will face higher ranked Hatay (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
