TBL top team - Eskisehir Basket (28-6) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventh ranked Istanbulspor (20-14) in Edirne 93-80. Eskisehir Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Istanbulspor's 34 and made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Istanbulspor 45-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Eskisehir Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Istanbulspor's players. American forward Troy Gillenwater (205-88, college: N.Mexico St.) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Yunus Sonsirma (192-92) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists during the contest. Eskisehir Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 28-6 record, which they share with Sakarya BSB.
