Very expected game when 14th ranked Walter Tigers (9-24) were defeated on the road by ninth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (16-15) 81-65 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of international Johannes Thiemann (204-94) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American swingman DJ Kennedy (198-89, college: St.John's) who added 15 points during the contest. American forward Stanton Kidd (202-92, college: Colorado St.) responded with 19 points and his fellow American import point guard Jared Jordan (187-84, college: Marist) scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Walter Tigers' coach Tyron McCoy rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. EnBW Ludwigsburg moved-up to eighth place. Walter Tigers lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 24 games lost. EnBW Ludwigsburg will face league's leader ratiopharm Ulm at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
