Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Bursaspor (26-8) won against at home 8th ranked Samsun (19-15) 91-75 on Saturday. Bursaspor dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Samsun's 24. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) supported him with 16 points and 5 assists. Bursaspor's coach Semsettin Bas used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by American forward Mikael Hopkins (206, college: Georgetown) did not help to save the game for Samsun. Caner Ercan (205-86) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bursaspor have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Bursaspor maintains fourth position with 26-8 record. Samsun at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth place with 15 games lost.
