Second Stage Round 1: FMP - Mega Leks 90-70

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Mega Leks (0-1) in Beograd on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by FMP (1-0) 90-70. The game without a history. FMP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. FMP forced 19 Mega Leks turnovers and outrebounded them 38-25 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Mega Leks' players. 26 personal fouls committed by Mega Leks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Australian forward Jonah Bolden (208-96, college: UCLA) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Dejan Davidovac (202-95, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 14 points. Five FMP players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Jovan Novak (188-94) responded with 11 points and 5 assists and point guard Nikola Rebic (188-95, agency: BeoBasket) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FMP is looking forward to face Vrsac on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mega Leks will play against Borac (#1) in Cacak and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
