There was no surprise when 7th ranked Furstenfeld Panthers (13-19) were defeated on the road by first ranked Redwell Gunners Oberwart (27-5) 74-60 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Redwell Gunners Oberwart. Furstenfeld Panthers was better in fourth quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Redwell Gunners Oberwart made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Redwell Gunners Oberwart outrebounded Furstenfeld Panthers 49-26 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Benjamin Blazevic (204-95) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. American forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Redwell Gunners Oberwart players scored in double figures.
