Dynamo Kursk posted the second straight win in the title series. They upset UMMC in Ekaterinburg to step closer to the trophy. Dynamo Kursk dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to UMMC Ekaterinburg's 26. Dynamo Kursk had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Spanish point guard Anna Cruz (173-86, agency: ProDep Management) who scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Nigerian-American power forward Nneka Ogwumike (189-90, college: Stanford) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Dynamo Kursk players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Brittney Griner (203-90, college: Baylor) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and Italian-American Diana Taurasi (182-82, college: Connecticut) added 16 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
