Lugano Tigers knocked down Starwings to secure the lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Lugano Tigers. Starwings managed to win fourth quarter 10-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international forward Derek Stockalper (196-84, college: Cal Poly - SLO) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and the former international Florian Steinmann (197-91) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Lugano Tigers' coach Nicola Brienza used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American guard Chris Jones (188-93, college: Angelo St.) responded with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import power forward Durell Vinson (201-85, college: Wagner) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds.
