Quarter-Finals Round 2: Lugano Tigers - Starwings 96-74

Lugano Tigers knocked down Starwings to open 2-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Lugano Tigers. Starwings managed to win third quarter 24-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lugano Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Starwings' 30. They outrebounded Starwings 44-29 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lugano Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Tristan Carey (193-91, college: Longwood) scored 35 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Derek Stockalper (196-84, college: Cal Poly - SLO) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American power forward Durell Vinson (201-85, college: Wagner) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Chris Jones (188-93, college: Angelo St.) scored 24 points and 6 assists.
