Second Stage Round 5: Mega Leks - Dynamic BG 75-86

There was a small surprise in Sremska Mitrovica where sixth ranked Dynamic BG (2-3) defeated 4th placed Mega Leks (2-3) 86-75. Dynamic BG forced 21 Mega Leks turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American guard Devin Brooks (186-92, college: Creighton) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Swingman Marko Cakarevic (200-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Dynamic BG players scored in double figures. Sava Lesic (205-88, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Nikola Rebic (188-95, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for Mega Leks. Mega Leks' coach Dejan Milojevic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dynamic BG moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Borac and Mega Leks. Dynamic BG will play against bottom-ranked Vrsac (#8) at home in the next round. Mega Leks will play against Spartak (#7) in Subotica and hope to get back on the winning track.
