Lugano Tigers overcame Monthey to bounce back from the opening loss. Monthey was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Lugano Tigers shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. American guard Tristan Carey (193-91, college: Longwood) notched 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Terrell Everett (193-84, college: Oklahoma, agency: Diamond Sports) supported him with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports) did not help to save the game for Monthey. The former international power forward Jonathan Dubas (204-91) added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
