Semifinals Round 3: Alba - ZTE KK 102-70

Alba cruised past visiting ZTE KK to take 2-1 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Alba. ZTE KK managed to win third quarter 29-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to ZTE KK's 34. Alba forced 22 ZTE KK turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by ZTE KK's players. It was a good game for American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-94, college: Utah) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals. The former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Alba players scored in double figures. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Zsolt Szabo (202-86) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Lithuanian center Adomas Drungilas (203-90) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for ZTE KK.
