Regular Season Round 1: Wolfpack/BMS - Bakken 51-91

Date: September 18, 2017
The game in Skovlunde supposed to be also quite interesting. Bakken (1-0) played at the court of BMS Skovlunde (0-2). Bakken smashed BMS Skovlunde 91-51 on Monday. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 BMS Skovlunde turnovers. BMS Skovlunde was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Trinidad and Tobago forward Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) stepped up and scored 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and American guard Doug Wiggins (185-88, college: Mountain St.) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. At the losing side Lithuanian guard Edgaras Stanionis (195-88, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with 21 points and American forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bakken will face Horsholm at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BMS Skovlunde will play against Svendborg (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
