Regular Season Round 2: Rosenheim - Schwabing 82-68

Rosenheim used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Schwabing 82-68 on Saturday night. Rosenheim forced 22 Schwabing turnovers. Schwabing was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. French forward Evans Ganapamo (201-94, college: Prairie View A&M) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Jguwon Hogges (173-86, college: Oregon Tech) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Four Rosenheim players scored in double figures. Guard Joshua Obiesie (187-0) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Chris Wurmseher (192-97) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rosenheim will face Ansbach (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Schwabing will play against Treuchtlingen and hope to win that game.
