Regular Season Round 2: Kamp-Lintfort - Hertener Loewen 67-71

There was no surprise when Kamp-Lintfort (0-3) was defeated at home by Hertener Loewen (3-0) 71-67 on Sunday. Forward Felix Neumann (201-90) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Dijon Smith (203-89, college: Ft.Hays State) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Center Lennart Boner (206) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Till Achtermeier (197-88) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Hertener Loewen will face Dorsten (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Kamp-Lintfort will play against Herford and hope to win that game.
