Regular Season Round 1: Svendborg - Horsholm 69-89

The game in Svendborg supposed to be also worth to mention about. Horsholm (2-0) played at the court of Svendborg (0-1). Horsholm did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 89-69. Horsholm dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Svendborg's 36. They outrebounded Svendborg 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Horsholm players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Matt Bonds (196, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Ty Sabin (190-94, college: Ripon, agency: Duran International) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. The former international guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 19 points and American forward Mike Moore (203-94, college: Mount Olive, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Svendborg. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Horsholm's next round opponent will be Bakken (#3) in Risskov, which may be the game of the day. Svendborg will play at home against BMS Skovlunde and hope to win that game.
