Very expected game when TV Saarlouis Royals (0-2) were defeated at home by TH Wohnbau Angels (2-0) 87-79. It looked good early as TV Saarlouis Royals took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then TH Wohnbau Angels took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 8 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to TV Saarlouis Royals' 34 and made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. TV Saarlouis Royals were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch.
