Friendsfactory Germering used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Keltern 79-58 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Friendsfactory Germering led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Keltern II's 24. Friendsfactory Germering forced 21 Keltern II turnovers. The former international Anne Delafosse (184-84) fired 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds for the winners. Emily Bessoir (192-1) chipped in 4 points and 14 rebounds. Serbian forward Katarina Vuckovic (190-94, college: Georgia Tech) produced 13 points and guard Alina Fody (174-90) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Keltern II's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Friendsfactory Germering will face Don Bosco Bamberg (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Keltern II will play against Eisvogel Freiburg and hope to win that game.
