Regular Season Round 2: ALBA - Bremerhaven 64-66

A very interesting game took place in Berlin. It ended with only two-point home defeat of ALBA Berlin (2-1) to Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (1-2) 66-64 on Monday evening. The game was dominated by American players. Point guard Jordan Hulls (180-90, college: Indiana) notched 9 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and center Geoffrey Groselle (212-93, college: Creighton) supported him with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Even 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) by center Dennis Clifford (216-92, college: Boston Coll.) did not help to save the game for ALBA Berlin. Point guard Peyton Siva (183-90, college: Louisville) added 8 points and 7 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's next round opponent will be s Oliver Baskets (#5) in Wuerzburg and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
