Regular Season Round 2: Brose Bask. - Giessen 46ers 87-84

Important game to mention about took place in Bamberg. Brose Baskets (2-1) saved a 3-point victory at home edging Giessen 46ers (0-2) 87-84 on Tuesday evening. Giessen 46ers were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Serbian Luka Mitrovic (204-93) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. American-Georgian Richard Hickman (189-85, college: NC-Greensboro) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. American center John Bryant (210-87, college: Santa Clara) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and forward Benjamin Lischka (204-89) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Brose Baskets and five Giessen 46ers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Brose Baskets will face Walter Tigers (#17) in Tuebingen in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Giessen 46ers will play at home against Oettinger Rockets Gotha (#18) and hope to win that game.
