Regular Season Round 2: Fraport SKY - Goettingen 88-80

Everything went according to plan in Frankfurt where Deutsche Bank Skyliners (2-0) won against BG Goettingen (0-2) 88-80 on Tuesday. They outrebounded BG Goettingen 33-21 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Deutsche Bank Skyliners especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian-British guard Philip Scrubb (191-92) who scored 25 points and 5 assists. American forward Mike Morrison (206-89, college: George Mason, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Michael Stockton (185-89, college: Westminster, UT) produced 15 points and 8 assists and his fellow American import forward Jordan Loveridge (198-93, college: Utah) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will face EnBW Ludwigsburg (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BG Goettingen will play against Bayern Muenchen (#1) and hope to win that game.
