Regular Season Round 2: Orman Genclik - Akhisar Bld 88-74

The biggest surprise of round 2 in TBL took place in Ankara where host Orman Genclik (1-1) beat Akhisar Bld (1-1) 88-74 on Friday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Orman Genclik. Akhisar Bld managed to win second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Orman Genclik had a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh) who scored 23 points. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Orman Genclik's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Cagdas Erdogan (188-88) produced 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Akhisar Bld will play next round against Ankara D.S.I. trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Orman Genclik will try to continue on its current victory against Acibadem in Istanbul.
