Regular Season Round 2: ALBA - Walter Tigers 99-63

Date: October 6, 2017
No shocking result in a game when ALBA Berlin (2-1) smashed at home Walter Tigers (0-2) 99-63 on Friday. ALBA Berlin dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Walter Tigers' 32 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. ALBA Berlin looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Walter Tigers' players. Walter Tigers were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American point guard Peyton Siva (183-90, college: Louisville) who scored 11 points and 7 assists. The former international center Bogdan Radosavljevic (213-93) chipped in 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. American guard Kris Richard (196-89, college: Tulane, agency: KMG Sports Management) produced 23 points and his fellow American import point guard Jared Jordan (187-84, college: Marist) added 8 points and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ALBA Berlin will face Mitteldeutscher BC (#11) in Weissenfels in the next round where they are favorite. Walter Tigers will play at home against Brose Baskets and hope to win that game.
