Regular Season Round 4: Gotha II - Oberhaching 49-67

Very important is a home loss of first ranked Gotha II (2-1) against fifth ranked Oberhaching (2-1) on Saturday night. Host Gotha II was defeated by Oberhaching in Gotha 67-49. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gotha II. It was a very good performance for center Moritz Wohlers (203-84, college: Mont.St.-Billings) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Peter Zeis (196-89) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Oberhaching players scored in double figures. American forward Robert Franklin (195-81, college: N.Mexico Highlands) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 18 rebounds and Tobias Bode (204-92) added 9 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Gotha II. Gotha II's coach Florian Gut tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Oberhaching moved-up to fourth place in South-East, which they share with Gotha II and Muenchen OSB. Oberhaching's next round opponent will be Herzogenaurach (#11) at home and are hoping to win another game. Gotha II will play against Bamberg (#9) and hope to win that game.
