Regular Season Round 3: Elchingen - Coburg 85-72

Everything went according to plan when Elchingen (2-1) beat at home Coburg (0-3) 85-72 on Saturday. Elchingen forced 23 Coburg turnovers and had a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Hayden Lescault (196-92, college: Point Loma) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!), 5 assists and 7 steals. Forward Brian Butler (196-91) helped adding 8 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Steffen Walde (190-92) with 18 points and American forward Jordan Burris (201-92, college: CS San Bernar.) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Four Coburg players scored in double figures. Coburg's coach Simon Bertram rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Elchingen will face Titans (#8) in Dresden in the next round. Coburg will play at home against Bayer Giants and hopes to get finally their first victory.
