Regular Season Round 3: Lions - Flames 92-60

The most important game of round 3 took place in Dornbirn where Lions crushed Flames (2-1) 92-60 on Saturday night. Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Flames' 26. They outrebounded Flames 45-21 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for Spanish center Antoni Vicens (204-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds. Spanish guard Ander Arruti (190-90) helped adding 17 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Lions players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Christian Kunstner (186-90) with 12 points and guard Joshua Rohrboeck (180-96) scored 3 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
