Regular Season Round 3: Itzehoe - Stahnsdorf 90-73

There was a minor upset when RSV Eintracht (1-2) was defeated on the road by Itzehoe (1-2) 90-73 on Saturday. Itzehoe made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game, while RSV Eintracht only scored ten points from the stripe. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Itzehoe made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for American forward Kaimyn Pruitt (203-90, college: Adams St., agency: Aspire Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds. British-Australian point guard Joshua Wilcher (178-91, college: Cent.Wyoming) helped adding 27 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American Josh Smith (206-94, college: Clemson) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import guard Mike Holton-Jr (185-90, college: St.Michael's) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Itzehoe will face Oldenburg (#12) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
