Regular Season Round 4: Jena II - Muenchen OSB 64-76

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Jena II (0-3) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Muenchen OSB (2-1) 76-64 on Saturday. Muenchen OSB dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Jena II's 28. Muenchen OSB forced 24 Jena II turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jermaine Lippert (203-90, college: Detroit Mercy) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) who added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. At the losing side point guard Jan Heber (187-98) responded with 19 points and Slovakian Jakub Kadasi (199-99) scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Jena II's coach Christopher Schreiber let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Muenchen OSB moved-up to fourth place in South-East, which they share with Gotha II and Oberhaching. Loser Jena II still closes the standings with three games lost. Muenchen OSB will face Rosenheim (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jena II will play against Topstar in Diedorf and hopes to get finally their first victory.
