Regular Season Round 2: Virum - SISU 56-52

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of SISU (1-1) on the court of Virum on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Virum 56-52. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Virum dominated on the defensive end, holding SISU to just 5 points in first quarter. They outrebounded SISU 48-25 including a 17-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Caitlin Ingle (172-95, college: Drake, agency: LBM Management) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Valerie Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) chipped in 16 points and 14 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) during the contest. Virum's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Lauren Chase (165-93, college: G.Washington) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Virum is looking forward to face Stevnsgade (#4) on the road in the next round. SISU will play against Horsholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
